The question wont accept my answer even though it working in the VS interactive window.

It's asking to use a space delimiter and I'm doing just that

string[] words = "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog".Split(new char[] { ' ' });

Is there something I'm not getting by this question?

You're being a bit too fancy.

You only need: Split(' ')
