The video navigation bar - proposal

I think it would be better to place the video navigation bar outside of the video, because it often covers the video content. I need to stop the video and wait for the bar to disappear to see what is underneath. Can anything be done about this, please?

I definitely know what you mean. That bar gets annoying sometimes if you are trying to read some of the code. I guess you could make it full screen but then you can't see your own code.
