Thinking of taking the Android Developer Tech Degree.. Will I have to have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Java 1st?

I'm just barely starting out with the basic classes of HTML and slowly moving into CSS and Java soon... are there other programming languages I'll need to learn first before I even begin looking into the Android Developer Tech Degree?

Nope, you'll be fine :). The Android Techdegree starts off by teaching you the Java you'll need to know first, and then we start getting into the Android framework.

So there is no need to literally have no knowledge in anything (i.e. html, css, etc) before starting a Techdegree??

That's correct! It might help to have seen some of the content before, but it certainly isn't required.
