This course is so outdated!

Dear teachers! Please make a new up to date course on laravel ASAP. Basically nothing is aligned with the video any longer and it is very hard to follow. The folders, files - everything is different.

It may be a good idea to email your concerns directly to a teacher or teachers to ask them their plans and to notify the help at help@teamtreehouse.com so that they can address it :].

It also might be helpful to be more specific as to the changes by providing examples of what version of each component you are using compared to the ones in the video. Most course, looks like this one included. Shows the versions, if not stated directly, in the course of what they are using. Going to the sites they go to may lead to downloading a more current version of the platform or framework, causing confusion. Most frameworks provide a way to download past versions, which would better assist in learning the course with the same versions the instructor is using.

Learning on older versions of something may still be useful/helpful for understanding how something work, then you may have a better understanding of the changes in the latest versions.

Just my 2 cents :]
