JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Passing an Argument to a Function

this is challenge 2 of 2 but I don't understand it very well can somebody assist?

does anybody know what code should I add

Hey Abdulrahman,

in the task 2, it want's you to create a new variable and assign it the value returned from the 'returnValue' function. Since this function takes a parameter, you'll have to provide one when calling it. Your code will look something like this:

function returnValue(arg) {
  return arg   
}

var echo = returnValue("Eric");
