This seems like it should work, but I can't figure out what's wrong.

function returnValue(argument) {

return argument;

}

var echo = returnValue;

returnValue("hellooooooo");

script.js

  return argument;

You are close. You need to pass an argument to the function like this:

var echo = returnValue("hellooooooo");
