This video shows the IntelliJ version from 2016. The current version from 2019 will not allow me to do a type conversion

Trying to convert the queue from song to songrequest does not match the video. Is there another way to do this with the current version?

You need to move along all changes that Craig made in previous video. Please fosuc on creating new class songrequest and generate code getter and setter plus overide equals() and hascode () metod. When you do it it will works fine.
