time

I'm going to create a variable named time. It'll be an integer for the current hour (well, what I want the current hour to be). I need you to make an if condition that sets store_open to True if time is in store_hours. If time isn't in store_hours, set store_open to False. You'll probably have to use if, else, and in to solve this one.

At the beginning of the question the instructor says that he is going to create a variable name time. so I believe its not letting you pass the challenge because you miss that bit of information. otherwise your code is correct. I hope this helps you out.

So I ran this multiple times and it passes the quiz. See what errors you have compared to this. Once you take out your time variable it should work.

I also run into issues with some of the challenges as well. Most of the time I find that I read through the challenge too fast and miss some important details. If you read through the challenge again, you'll see that Treehouse is assigning a value to the variable time. You do not need to set time equal to anything. Take that line out of your code. Also, you don't need to import time at the top. Take that line out as well.

No, the challenge will set the time variable for you. You do not have to create it, ask for input, or set it. The time variable will be set by the challenge in the background.
