Hi Nathan I hate to be the one to tell you this. But, that attitude will not get you far in any forum, or in this industry for that matter.

I'm sure Treehouse truly appreciate feedback to improve, but it has to be constructive criticism at least, otherwise it's just pointless and doesn't help anyone. As Philip intimated, you're doing yourself a complete disservice with that attitude and how you're coming across and engaging others. Who knows you could be interacting with others here that may be potential employers, colleagues, peers etc.

Successful troll. But seriously, the quiz questions don't help the learning process. Also....no language filters..?

I think the problem is within you :D

Nathan,

Please be mindful of others on this site and the site itself and refrain from using inappropriate language on these forums. Please note that there are other constructive ways to inform the staff here at TeamTreehouse about their quiz questions. You can send an email to their support staff addressing this issue for instance. I know some of the questions and even the challenges here can be viewed as either difficult or even unfair and I've been a victim of these from time to time. Please use constructive criticism in those instances and ask the community here of teachers and students if you are stuck on an issue and we'll be more than happy to assist you.

Cheers!

If nothing else, the quiz questions that don't seem to work are able to serve as gatekeepers. Who will persevere? Who will ask for help? Who will problem solve until mastery? What are you learning about yourself in these areas? I am finding that while I'm alone with my computer, I am not alone in this online community - and I won't get far without others who are willing to work with me, help me, tolerate my ignorance when I encounter it and put it on display. People do hear you when you cuss and complain, and they are listening to not just what you say, but what it says about you. (I'd block out the haters, but I find I learn some things from them, too... not least of which is what not to do!) Exhale, think, then get back in here with us and give it another good try from a new angle.
