TREEHOUSE! Stick to one method of installing Ruby on Rails through Mac!!!!

I have to say I am extremely disappointed with Treehouse right now on the ruby walkthroughs. You have brew to install then you have another and another. Not one video is the same for installation. What is the alpha and omega for installing this program??? Can you also talk as if the person your training has no experience? Hints the reason their here anyway...

Mac come with pre-installed ruby.

Yes - true. But not RoR

When I don't find answers here in videos and forums I always do my own google search. https://gorails.com/setup/osx/10.10-yosemite

which OS do you have?

Hi David,

You are not the only one who has frustration with new installations for Ruby/Ruby on Rails, everyone has similar issues.

Today new courses just release - Installing a Ruby on Rails Development Environment in OS X

Installing a Ruby on Rails Development Environment in Ubuntu

Installing a Ruby on Rails Development Environment in Windows

Wohoo!

I went through this earlier and had no issues with this one. http://teamtreehouse.com/library/installing-a-ruby-development-environment it's not obsolete like the one that is using ruby 1.3 and rails 2.
