Hi Joel,

Can you explain what your doing exactly? Are you saving your work before viewing the changes?

yes. I've followed along with the coding steps from the videos, but still, no matter what I do, it only opens up to that page.

"nick pettit"

Joel,

Can you try logging out and back in again and see if that fixes the issue please.

Do you have the same issue in other browsers?

in chrome it goes to "nick pettit", in explorer it's just opens a blank page.

Are you able to look at my code on that link? Am I making a mistake?

I tried from two separate computers as well

I'm unable to view your workspace Joel.

If your following along and doing the same as Nick then the only explanation is thats its a bug with your workspace.
This isn't uncommon I'm afraid, you have a few choices,

  1. For now just watch the videos and use your own code editor to follow along.
  2. Contact Treehouse support via email.
  3. Just watch the videos and tomorrow things will just somehow work, thats what you will see usually happens if you search for workspace problems in the forum and read the responses there.

Sorry i can't help you out more Joel.

Thanks for your help anyways!

Last question, do you know how I would generate my own code editor?

Thanks again!

Are you using a Mac or a PC Joel?

There are a few choices for both, some free and some paid.

mostly a pc, but sometimes a mac

For the Mac I would suggest Sublime text, its free to try, fully featured and has some amazing add ons, the free trial is unlimited but once you get the hang of it it's only fair to buy it. Textwrangler too.

As for the PC, there is Notepad++ there are more i but I use a mac so i don't know them.

Awesome.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
