825 Pointstrying to make a inheritance of a class
please help me out with my code, I could not find what's wrong.
class Vehicle {
var numberOfDoors: Int
var numberOfWheels: Int
init(withDoors doors: Int, andWheels wheels: Int) {
self.numberOfDoors = doors
self.numberOfWheels = wheels
}
}
class car : Vehicle
{
var numberOfSeats: Int = 4
override init(withDoors doors: Int, andWheels wheels: Int) {
super.init(withDoors: doors, andWheels: wheels)
}
}
let someCar = car(withDoors: 2, andWheels: 6)
// Enter your code below

3,751 PointsHi Arun,
class Vehicle {
var numberOfDoors: Int
var numberOfWheels: Int
init(withDoors doors: Int, andWheels wheels: Int) {
self.numberOfDoors = doors
self.numberOfWheels = wheels
}
}
// Enter your code below
class Car: Vehicle {
var numberOfSeats = 4
}
let someCar = Car(withDoors: 2, andWheels: 4)
The completed code looks something like that above. With the new Class you don't need another initializer as you have given numberOfSeats a default value.
So if you were to do a print on 'someCar' you would see it has 2 doors, 4 wheels and 4 seats.
Cheers, Marc
