The Twitter link that is in the teacher's notes does not work when you add it into your post.

I couldn't get the twitter and kickstarter links to work either, at first.

I looked at the documentation at the Supported Embed Options [https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds] but all I found was: "Twitter - older versions of WordPress have issues with https embeds, just remove the s from the https to fix."

I tried this on the Twitter one but it didn't seem to work in itself.

However, after this the Kickstarter started one seemed to work on its own.

I then tried different Twitter links which also seemed to work fine.

In conclusion then, there doesn't seem much other than WordPress getting "temperamental" after putting in the link to Zac's tweet. Solution: Just try another, more recent, tweet link to see if that works.

I got the Twitter embed working in the end by removing the trailing slash from the end of the URL - that was the only difference I could see between a more recent tweet that was working ok and Zac's tweet which wasn't.

What Twitter link? Is it a link or a button? Could you share the screenshot?

It worked for me after removing the trailing / from the Twitter link and adding one to the Kickstarter link. Both links worked after this, even with the https:.
