Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Parsing Integers

unable to create int and then parseInt into it

int answer = Integer.parseInt(answerToLife);

ParsingInts.java
int answer = Integer.parseInt(AnswerToLife);

Without seeing the rest of the code, this is a little confusing to answer. Could you post the rest of it?

thanks for the responses to you all i really appreciate that. However my problem is as follows, i have to make a new int variable that will be named answer, then store the integer version of answerToLife in it. I have to store the integer version of answerToLife in answer? I'm unable to find a way to do this?
