iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Parameters and Tuples Named Parameters

Unresolved Identifier

I was wondering how to remedy this error?

named_parameters.swift
func greeting(#person: String) -> String{
return person
}
  println("Hello \(greeting(person: Jerry))")

1 Answer

Hello, this function is not required to return any value so the return type should be dropped. Also, when calling the function we should provide the external parameter's name before passing the argument. Here is my solution to the problem:

func greeting(#person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}
greeting(person:"Jerry

hope it helps

That is extremely helpful thank you.
