Using Git for Ubuntu for Windows - where do repositories get saved?

I installed Git for Ubuntu for Windows (I am using Windows 10) so I can follow along with the videos using the exact same commands.

When using the pwd command, the result I get is home/Username... I'm trying to understand where this folder is located since this is only a Bash emulation.
