Using gson.fromJson in coursesCanBeAccessedById test

I'm wondering which part of the code in coursesCanBeAccessedById test is setting the format of the body to JSON so that we can use gson.fromJson on res.getBody. All I can see in the Response class is that body is a Strin but I cannot see when are we formatting that string as JSON. Can someone explain, please? Thank you in advance.
