Visual Studio problem

When I started the programming portion. Visual Studio was automatically used. I went ahead used it but it was only the evaluation version. Now when I try to make any code changes or additions in the future it keeps opening Visual Studio. Is there a way to force it to use Mono Development? Or force uninstall Visual Studio? There doesn't seem to be a way to use the Uninstall a program feature.

Finally figured it out. Doesn't show uninstall as an option but when you click change it brings up a screen where uninstall is an option.
