Each .txt document that you create with 'right click' 'new' 'txt document' and click on will open it's own notepad page that you can drag around or position where you want.

File -> New will give you a new notepad page.

The best code editor are Sublime Text2 and Notepade++ . Their used al over the word now , even in treehouse they use Subime Text 2 and its my favorite too. Its great text editor . Make sure to get a licence for it . When your saving , save it in html, css ,js, php and after that , sublime text2 will automaticly adjust the color and all the programming language so its easy to fing ur self there.

It's worth noting that a Sublime Text 2 license will cost you $70, however notepad++ is freeware.
