Congratulations on your new Student Hosting Account! Thanks, but now what? When I follow the link to cpanel, it's dead! "This web page is not available". What am I doing wrong?

3,500 PointsThere are a couple possible reasons for this. Commonly you need to flush your local DNS. We have some resources for you on how to do this on a Mac: http://kb.siteground.com/how_to_clear_the_local_dns_cache_in_mac_os/ or on a Windows machine: http://kb.siteground.com/how_to_clear_the_local_dns_cache_in_windows/
In some cases, your ISP has a cached version of the site. This may cause you to not be able to able to access your site at all. If this is the case, try setting up Google DNS
If neither of those't work, it may be that your IP address has been blocked for something like too many failed login attempts to cPanel or FTP. If you Google search "IP" if will tell you your IP.
If you tried to clear your cache, flush your DNS, use Google DNS and it doesn't work, please contact us with your IP address.

All I did was update my name servers for my already purchased domain on go-daddy website.. The new name server info you should have recived by email when you paid.
Then waited about an hour for the DNS to uodate .. Then went to my domain I.e: www.mydomainame.co.uk/cpanel it then came up with a login screen to cpanel...

5,571 PointsI've tried all of the things webhostingforstudents.com suggests on the faq website and I'm still faced with "This webpage is not available". I have no idea what I'm doing or why but I've gone through every suggested step and there have been no changes. I guess I'll just send over my ip address to webhostingforstudents.com and perhaps they can fix it?
@Garry, I'm sorry mate, I don't know what that means, could you explain what you did another way?
