Website renewed but inaccessible

Hi.

I've renewed my website with Namecheap and Web Hosting for Students but I'm still locked out of it. I've been in touch with both the DNS and the Web Host. The URL is http://www.seanflanagan.co.uk.

What should I do please?

Thanks

Sean

Hm, no idea to be honest. But I have read about really rare cases where it took upto 72 hours.

This article also mentions times from 12-72 hours when changes to the DNS were made: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/website-migration-guide/

When did you purchase the domain and the webspace? When did you set the DNS nameservers of your webspace in the domain's DNS settings at your domain provider?

If you did that just with the last 15 minutes, you will have to be patient.

DNS changes take effect within 24-48 hours. Sometimes even longer.

Hi Saskia. Thanks for your response.

I bought both last year. I still have the receipts for their renewal. The Namecheap one is dated 9 June 2015. Web Hosting for Students: 10 June 2015.

I have also contacted Treehouse Support.

Can you still access your customer account at namecheap? If so, just check if everything is still set up correctly over there. If that is the case, try log in to your Webspace at Webhosting for Students. If you can not log in over at Webhosting for Students, or if you can and your customer account says that it has expired, although you definitely paid for it, contact the Webhosting for Students support.

With one of the two providers something seems to be wrong here :) Just need to find out which end it is.

You mentioned that DNS changes can sometimes take longer than 24-48 hours to take effect. Can you give me a rough idea of how much longer?

I appreciate you linking me to this article. Based on this, I think it would be sensible to wait a bit longer. What irritates me is that the two providers blame each other.
