Whare are the prerequisites for the "Kotlin for Java Developers" course?

With the announcement at Google IO 2017 that Kotlin is now officially supported by Google I want to get ahead of the game and learn Kotlin.

The course doesn't name any specific prerequisites.

And when someone asked a similar question before, a student replied "You just need [a generic] programming background".

However, I notice that student only completed the first stage. So what happened, Greenie 99? Would you recommend any prerequisites now?
