What about national code like .us / .uk/ .jp? Is it also TLD? Or ...?

I wonder which domain the national code such as .us after TLD belongs to??

Yes country specific domain are a sub section of the top level domain names, country code top-level domain (ccTLD). They are managed by IANA.
