iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Functions Creating a Function

What am I doing wrong

I'm supposed to create a function, but don't know why this isn't running.

greeting.swift
func greeting() {
  return "Hello"
}

greeting()

1 Answer

Hello Shane,

They are asking for a println statement, swapping out println for return in your code should do the trick. In the second challenge they are asking for you to call on the function

challenge 1

func greeting() {
println ("Hello")
}```

challenge 2 add

greeting()

Hope this helps (please favorite my answer if it does!)

Kind regards,

Justin
