What am I doing wrong?

How do I setup my coding?

initialScore = initialScore + 1
let totalScore = initialScore
totalScore = ++levelScore

var initialScore = 8

You need to increment the initialScore after it is defined and assign it to totalScore. You can do this in one line.

var initialScore = 8
let totalScore = ++initialScore

Thanks a lot Damien. I actually tried that but since I put the coding in the top it wasns.t letting me pass the challenge. Now I know that it must be after the variable is given its value. Thanks again.
