iOS Swift 2.0 Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops For In Loops

What am I doing wrong?

Inside the body of the loop, we're going to use the multiplier to get the multiple of 6. For example, if the multiplier is 1, then the multiple is 1 times 6, which is equal to 6.

Once you have a value, append it to the results array. This way once the for loop has iterated over the entire range, the array will contain the first 10 multiples of 6. (this is the challenge)

here is my code...

var results: [Int] = []

for multiplier in results { print(multiplier) }

let multiplier = results

for value in 1...10{ print("(value) times 10 is equal to (value * 6)") }

what am I doing wrong? error says my array needs to contain the first 10 multiples when I think i have stated that...

loops.swift
// Enter your code below
var results: [Int] = []

Hi Shane,

This worked for me:

for i in 1...10 {
    let multiplier = 6 * i
    results.append(multiplier)
}

Hi Shane,

This iterates the array ten times while multiplying it by 6 and appends the result into the array.

var results: [Int] = []

for result in 1...10 {
    let multiplier = 6
    results.append(result * multiplier)
}

Hope that helps, Dave
