What am I doing wrong?

Hey can someone tell where I am going wrong ?

strings.py 
dicts = [
    {'name': 'Michelangelo',
     'food': 'PIZZA'},
    {'name': 'Garfield',
     'food': 'lasanga'},
    {'name': 'Walter',
     'food': 'pancakes'},
    {'name': 'Galactus',
     'food': 'worlds'}
]

string = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"

def string_factory(dicts,string):
  return string.format(**dicts)

You're getting a list of dictionaries, so you need to get each dictionary individually, use those key-value pairs to generate a string, then add it to a list.

You can use a for loop to access each dictionary and then unpack it for the call to format, yes.
