What am I doing wrong? The output doesnt slow any errors :-(

it just comes up with a blank screen. What did I do wrong?

struct Expense {
    var description: String
    var amount: Double = 0.0

    init (description: String, amount: Double) {
        self.description = description
        self.amount = amount
    }
func calculateTaxes (percentage: Double) -> Double {
return (self.amount * (percentage/100))
}

}
var item = Expense(description: "tea", amount: 100 )

Hello Alistair Ridley,

I watched your code. What I know is in your code it doesn't have any "print" or "println", even inside your function only set to "return". So thats why it doesn't show anything.

If you want to show something on the screen just simply add print or println
