What class is actually being returned by getClass()

I understand that getClass is inherited from Object but exactly what class is being returned by the method? Is it the Main class?

I've linked the video with this question.

Yes, I am fairly certain that getClass() is simply a shorter way of writing this.getClass(), meaning it is called on this instance of the Main class.
