Data Analysis Financial Statement Basics The Balance Sheet Balance Sheet Assessment

what current liability or current asset line item has the lowest book value in 2017

According to Investopedia, the book value is total assets/total liability. There is not a total liability line item and you cannot find the answer via line items since technically the line items are not the same. Therefore, I have taken the difference between CA and CL which does not equal the right answer, yet I am thinking that is the book value. Therefore, I do not understand what line item this question is talking about.

Hi Alana!

I haven't studied this course, so I'm not very knowledgeable on this topic, but I took a guess and got it on the first try.

My answer was "unearned revenue". My hunch was that it had the least change from 2016 to 2017 ($329.00).

But it also is the lowest figure in the 2017 column at $5,097, which is more likely the real reason.

But this looks like a course I should probably eventually take myself!?!

I hope that helps.

Stay safe and happy coding!

This is a great course for everyone to take. Numbers never lie ... Thank you for your help. 😊

By the way, do you have any idea when the Data Analysis track will be available? I went through two tracks but I think there are more to do. I am on Python right now but very hard to grasp. What track would be next best for me?
