what did i do wrong on this

why is this incorrect with syntax errors?

From your description, you seem to have the code for the MovieActivity file in the DialogFragment file as well. You should be creating the Dialog in the MovieActivity as you do in the code above and the code for AlertDialogFragment file should be the corresponding AlertDialogFragment code.
