i dont understand the requirment of code. can you give me sample input and its output
def first_4(iterables):
return (iterables[0:4])
def first_and_last_4(iterable2):
return(list(iterable2[0:4]+iterable2[-1:-5:-1]))

Treehouse Moderator 68,423 Points"return the first four and last four items as a single value." means, return the result as a single entity. A string in yields a string and a list in yields a list.
>>> print(first_and_last_4("abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"))
"abcdwxyz"
>>> print(first_and_last_4([1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]))
[1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12]
