32,861 PointsIf a course has prerequisite courses, you should complete the prerequisite courses before taking the course. Those prerequisite courses will teach you concepts that you need to know in order to fully understand the material.

9,876 PointsThe point is that though the teacher says at the start of the course that we should have "completed the pre requisites that are mentioned in the teachers section" there are no pre requisites mentioned. I've seen this missing on many of the courses given by Pasan actually maybe some one can get a reminder to him to add them. Many thanks

28,726 PointsI think this is a good question. If a course has prerequisites (and I think I have seen them on other courses), it should be distinguished on the course. I cannot see, by looking at the course, what the prerequisites are, which there are some, ... so basically, the video is telling the user to look at nothing. Nothing is there, but there should be something.
