What does the word >points reference in relation to course material you’ve completed? Is 316 points the equivalent of 316 hours?

231,236 PointsMy understanding is that the "points" are essentially just a fun motivational tool. While they are affected by study progress, they do not directly relate to time spent. Ways you gain points from the lessons include:
- Watch a Video (any length) 1 point
- Complete a Quiz 6 points
- Complete a Code Challenge 12 points
- Complete a Course Stage 30 points
- Complete a Course (all quizzes and challenges) 60 points
- Complete a Track 150 points
But you can also get points from participation in the Community Forum, when you:
- Have a Forum Post Upvoted 1 point
- Have a Forum Post selected as "Best Answer" 12 points
Nearly 2/3 of my points are from Forum participation.
