It's because you have two opening and two closing script tags. Since you're not working with a file called 'scripts.js' there is no need for it to be there. You can simply remove the first set of script tags.

<script src="scripts.js"></script> \Try removing these script tags and its contents

<script> alert("Warning!"); </script>

:)

Thank you, Charlie!

I realize that after i posted the problem here.
