What if I don't want my testimonials to go on each page, just the "about" page?

For example, if I had small profiles of employees, I would only want it on the "about" page. I've tried to use the is_page, but I don't think it works like that.

I think the best way to do this is to make a copy of your page.php file and name it page-$slug.php, or alternatively page-$id.php. (replace the variables in the filename with what applies to your page. So probably page-about.php)

On this new template you add your testimonials and remove them from the page.php template.
