What i'm doing incorrectly?

var fullName = prompt("What is your full name?");


//Select Input with the id of #fullName
var $selInput = $("#fullName").val();

//Insert value in to full name input
 var $addValue = $("#fullName").attr("value", "$selInput");

It's somewhat of a strangely worded question with two lines of comments.

Basically all you have to do is select the ID and then set it's value.

$('#fullName').val(fullName);

$('#fullName') selects the ID and .val(fullName) sets the value to be that of the variable fullName
