What is an advantage of display:table?

In the video, Guil said that the table is useful when we want to align an element vertically by using vertical-align. However, vertical-align also works with inline and inline-block. So, in which case, we should use display:table?

1 Answer

You should really only use tables to display data. Now there are other ways you can use vertical align like flex box for example. Before flex box there was not many other ways to vertically align objects. You can also use grids to display objects. Here is an article you can read to learn more about how to display objects.
