What is sum?

I don't understand what sum does!

sum is the result of adding numbers.

For the first value for week, week = [5.00, 2.75, 22.00, 0.00, 0.00]. sum(week) is 5.00 + 2.75 + 22.00 + 0.00 + 0.00, which gives the value of 29.75.
