I'm still learning myself so take what I say with a pinch of salt but in my personal projects, I have been trying to use em and rem as much as possible due to their benefit in responsive design. Using px is ideal for making accurate adjustments but doesn't scale when the website changes design.

Ultimately, it depends on your situation. May be worth reading more on Responsive Design.
