What is the correct choice?

tried using the class name once, next time I tried calling the data close name but cant figure it out. What is it?

Use an attribute selector to assign an element with a data attribute of data-close to the variable closeBtn:

<button type="button" class="close" data-close="modal">

To target the attribute data-close you'll need to wrap it in brackets:

var closeBtn = document.querySelector('[data-close]');
