What is the correct conditional statement to add an alert

Here is my code, and it is still not running..

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?'); If (answer === 'JavaScript'){ alert('You are correct'); }

Your answer is correct with the exception that your if in your if statement has a capital I when it should be lowercase.

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');
if (answer === 'JavaScript'){
  alert('You are correct');
}

Ive changed the 'if' to lowercase, and it still doesn't run.
