What is the ":" in 02:53 in 5th lane?

What is the ":" how do people use them?

Because that is still a key and value pair in the array, just in this case the key is the functions name while the value is the function itself

I'm not sure what you mean by "5th lane". But at 2:53 in the video, the only colons I see are the ones that separate property (key) names from the associated values in the object literal being assigned to the variable "Portland".
