what is wrong?

I can't clear this challenge what should I do?

So, after you have created your function getYear(); you need to create a new variable named yearToday and then have that variable store the function (or the returned value of the function) you just created.

It would be this:

var yearToday = getYear();

In the above snippet you can see that I have created a new variable called yearToday and it stores my function getYear(); (or rather the value of my function)

Your last piece of code to call the getYear function and store that in the yearToday variable should look like this,

var yearToday = getYear();
