what is wrong with my code

Make the text inside each list item a link. The first item should link to cakes.html, the second to pies.html and the third to candy.html.

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
 <ul>
   <li><a href="#">Cakes.html</a></li>
   <li><a href="#">Pies.html</a></li>
   <li><a href="#">Candy.html</a></li>
    </ul>

  </body>
</html>

I see a few issues:

  • the link targets should be the values assigned to the "href" attribute (instead of "#").
  • the link targets should be in lower case, as given in the instructions
  • the original names should remain as the text inside the "a" elements
