Android Android Fragments Introducing Fragments Adding a Fragment

What is wrong with my code for this question? Fairly sure I'm right lol

Question is: Now create a new instance of this Fragment in MainActivity, and then add it to MainActivity's layout by using the placeholder ViewGroup (R.id.placeholder).

My code: Fragment NewsFragment = new Fragment(); FragmentManager fragmentManager = getFragmentManager(); FragmentTransaction fragmentTransaction = fragmentManager.beginTransaction(); fragmentTransaction.add(R.id.placeholder, NewsFragment); fragmentTransaction.commit();

What it's tell me: Bummer! Don't forget to include your NewsFragment instance as the second argument to the 'add' method.

What's wrong with my answer? I'm honestly stuck.

NewsFragment.java
public class NewsFragment extends Fragment {
    @Override
    public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) {

        return null;
    }
}
MainActivity.java
public class MainActivity extends AppCompatActivity {
    @Override
    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

    }
}

To create an instance of NewsFragment try:

NewsFragment newsFragment = new NewsFragment();

Then pass it to the add method like this:

fragmentTransaction.add(R.id.placeholder, newsFragment);
