What is wrong with my exception code?

I have used getMessage() method,but still it is showing error message

Example.java
class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    GoKart kart = new GoKart("purple");

    try{
    kart.drive(42);
    }catch(IllegalArgumentException e)
    {
        System.out.printf("the error was %s",e.getMessage());
    }
  }

}
GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private int barCount;
  private String color;
  private int lapsDriven;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }

  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return barCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return MAX_BARS == barCount;
  }

  public void drive() {
    drive(1);
  }

  public void drive(int laps) {
    if (laps > barCount) {
      throw new IllegalArgumentException("Invalid Value for laps");
    }
    lapsDriven += laps;
    barCount -= laps;
  }

}

Your code is valid. But its just how it was tested that gave you the error. You changed your IllegalArgumentException message in the GoKart.java file. You should only change the Example.java file.

Copy and paste what you got in the Example.java file and restart the challenge. Then just paste your code and it should run fine.
