What is wrong with this code?

You need to move this over to the implementation file which would be THViewController.m NOT the THViewController.h as you're trying to do implementations in the header file.

you have a typo... Y is 250 instead of 200..

self.showQuote.frame = CGRectMake(100, 250, 280, 44);
