What is wrong with this code? i feel like i am doing everything right

time = 15

store_open = None store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]

if time in store_open: store_open = True

else: store_open = False

Hi George, your almost doing everything right :)

# store_open is the boolean value you are assigning to in the conditional check, not the store_hours list
if time in store_open:  
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False

Fixed:

if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False
