iOS Swift Basics (retired) Collections What is a Dictionary?

What is wrong with this code? It looks right to me

It is asking me to assign the value for UK to ukCurrency,

I put let ukCurrency = currencies.removeValueForKey ("UK") and it says that is not right. could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here

Hi John,

The task is asking you to get the value for the key UK whereas you're you're removing it from the dictionary which isn't what it's asking for, the below is what it's asking for.

let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

Thank you so much for your quick response. It seems I was trying to make things more difficult than they needed to be.
